She has close to 20 years experience as a creative director and journalist. She has worked and written across fashion and beauty for numerous publications including Sunday Times Style, Harper's Bazaar, The Telegraph, Guardian, Elle, FT, South China Morning Post, Vanity Fair, Vogue (UK and International issues) Tatler and Glamour (where she held a dual role as Executive Editor & Beauty Director). Funmi has consulted for and worked with numerous brands such as Valentino, Gucci, Jo Malone, Liberty, Aesop, ELC, Selfridges, Space NK, NARS, Shiseido, The Ordinary and many more. She has appeared on Radio 4 and numerous panels to discuss issues across race, beauty, social media, identity and journalism, is the author of the best selling book, PALETTE, The Beauty Bible for Women of Colour and hosts On Reflection, a podcast on the culture of beauty.
